I took a test in Chemistry today, the last one for the class except for the final, and I made an 84=]

Hi again,
Hope everyone is wonderful!

School is whinding down...only two days this week, and then I come back the following Monday, am here for a week of studying for finals (Dead Week), and then the week after that is finals, and then my first semester is over with!
It sure did go by fast!
Thank you all for being there for me! I have such great support from everyone!

Roll Tide Roll

Hi, everyone!
thanks for checking up on my blog this week!

So this week has been much less stressful than last week! I have not had any tests or papers due this week! Which has been great for me!

Today I had some extra time, so me and my suitemate, Alyson, did a little cleaning and rearranging of some things in our room, we made it look very nice!=]
I hope that soon everyone will be able to come and see it! I know my nana, aunts, uncles, and cousins havent seen it yet, and I want everyone to get the chance one day! Because it is about as cool as a dorm can get haahaah!!!=]

Today I signed up for my new classes for next semester! I will post something soon with the schedule on it so everyone can see what I classes I will have and what time of the day and week I will have them!

Also, I just want everyone to know that I do have a mailbox here at school! I check it a couple of times a week. I know that there are some people that I get to see alot so there is not much sense in sending cards and things! But if there are some people who would like to send a "feel good" letter or anything you can, and I will post my mailing address soon on this blogspot, if anyone is interested!

Well, I hope everyone else is doing well!=] And I hope I will be getting to see everyone soon, when we all get together for Thanksgiving!!!!

Decision 2008

Soo......
I picked up a newspaper today to read a little about how other college students are taking to the new president. "The Crimson White" our school paper had alot to say about Obama being elected.
Just so everyone knows, Obama is NOT who I voted for. I feel that is will be a great day in history when we can have a African American president but now was not the time for it. I have had alot of discussions with other people about Obama bringing all that we know together we have learned alot. I dont feel that he is ready to be our president. The fact that he announced his candidacy for president at a know terrorists house makes him seems a little untrustworthy. The terrorist he was with was one who had bombed the Pentagon, and said that he didnt do enough to it.
So with all of this said, I am not very happy about the election results, but I am however happy that I was able to participate in this vote. This is historical and I will able to tell everyone for years to come that I was part of it.
The paper today said there was a record turnout at the polls that were young adults ages 18-24. 44 million young adults ages 18-24 are registered to vote and of those over 50% voted, which is more than ever before. And two-thirds of these young voters voted for Obama. ( I think that it is good that when your 18 you can vote, but I think they should only let the smart 18 year-olds do it)
The paper also said that there would have been a better chance for McCain if all of these voters in each state would not have all voted Obama.
The only thing to do now is to hope that he can do it, and to pray the he will lead our country the way it has to be governed....or else we'll never make it!

So I just had to tell someone how I was feeling, I have been talking to Anna about it, and my other roomates, but we all agree on it. Too bad theres nothing we can do!




So to move on to other things. I have a big Chem test today and I better get to studying some more for it! See everyone soon!

A New Week!

Hi Everyone!
So this week in going to be a busy week for sure! I have a test in Theatre and Chemistry! And I forgot to mention in my last post that I had to start a reading journal for my English Class. I am starting "The Road", it looks like it is going to start a little slow, but it has got to get better bc this book is being made into a movie, so it has got to be good! Ha!

So tomorrow is the big vote, and I am super excited! Although I have to drive all the way back home to vote bc my absentee ballot was never mailed to me like it should have been! So I am kinda mad I have to drive all the way back home, but its ok! I want to vote and I told Aaron I was gonna have to come back home and he said since I was back home he would take me out to eat after he got off work and I voted! So yay! I get a meal with my man and get to vote! It should be a good day!

I am seeing a play on Wednesday, I always dread going to see my plays bc I know when I am done watching it I have to write a review on it! And no matter how good I think I do on my paper I never get the grade I think I should, my TA grades them and I dont know if he grades it like a teacher would! =[ Oh wellllll!
